N00bless has withdrawn from the RGCT2, they will not be participating any further. We have discussed the matter in private and it is a decision I have been aware of for a few days.

Im disappointed as to why it has come to this, but I understand and I do support the n00bless community.
Ill stress that this decision was not strictly a result of the decision on Capricorn. StJohn and Hex have expressed their disappointment at the way in which a lot of things were handled. TBH I am not going to go in to details as you guys don’t have to worry about them. Just know that the staff are well aware and have discussed it.

Allied Gaming has volunteered to switch groups as we now have an imbalance. Trojan will confirm, but as of now the move has taken place. So Group B will now contain Jelly, SoQ and WNx – communities please organise games with Allied asap!!

No bashing will be tolerated in this thread; it is just to inform you of the changes. As far as we are all concerned, it is busienss as usual :)

This is a shame, Noobless showed up with 20 players, that is simply unheard of in this day of ren. I hate to see such a well organized community drop out like this. I doubt that there will be another 20v20 round this tournament. I understand from flamin's(Can I call you flaming? or is that to close of a homo reference for you?) post that the decision was not solely based off the cheating scandal but it seems like it is due to the timing. You guys (noobless) played some great games and even though Jelly won all 3, it was much much closer then the screen shots suggested.

It was always likely, they had differing views on most things, no disrespect to them though..

A big shame nonetheless.

It's a great pity that a representative from each participating community was not involved at the beginning to agree a set of standardised rules.

I think that if everyone had been aware of what the rules and penalties involved in the existing situation were, all of this could have been avoided.

Yes it's disappointing, I had 18-24 players signed up every weekend through to the end of June.

Unfortunately, the difference between the different communities interpretation of the rules means we can't really continue to participate without compromising on what we consider to be an absolute minimum level of fair play and sportsmanship.

I wish all those still involved in the tournament Good Luck.

Regards

Gumby

Please note that this is my personally thoughts and in no way reflects the opinion of the mods and other staff at n00bless

Personally i think it's a joke. The admins really need to have the heads looked at, on any other server the original screen shot would have been enough to have her banned.

I also feel that the punishment over IC3's skins, is rather stupid, he posted those SS's knowing full well the possible outcome, but the admins wanted to punish him instead of praising him for coming forward despite the skins

I was in the HON at the time and can someone please explain to me how it is possible to get not one but three lag shot's on individuals that haven't moved and are repairing the MCT terminal, if it was lag, how do you shoot someone that hasn't moved or even come close the the upper windows since spawning at the bottom PT terminal??

This outcome i feel prevents any chance of us playing Jelly again in any voluntary setting. I hope that the admins discussion over this is made public, i want to see that total conversation and not the cherry pick various parts of the thread.

I also feel justified in the removal of n00bless, the tournament has had a total lack of organization from the beginning, the various rules that where laid before the tournament were a complete joke, the lack of compulsory scripts and the allowance of clear scope made me very wary over the organization of this tournament, the problems with the servers during the match and the total lack of sportsmanship from jelly once again go to show that n00bless hold themselves to a higher standard of morals than other severs. It's been proven that this player has been banned before, however the ban was removed by the jelly admins as it wasn't her, it was her brother.

I also have to wonder why the punishments for such a incident weren't decided/made public before the tournament began, surely some one in the various admins that came up with the rules should have said something. Did all the organizers have their heads so far up the own arse's that no one thought that the possibility of something like this was there?

Having looked at the Jelly forum's and the thread there concerning it i truly am worried about the average intelligence of jelly members, many of them seem to be of the opinion that n00bless are poor losers, on the contrary, even if we had won the tournament we still would have brought this up.

Another point is that the first two games where played on a US server, please note that no n00bless player got shot's like that despite the truly terrible ping and SFPS that we where forced to play with, another interesting fact that doesn't seem to have been taken into account is that the player in question barely managed half a dozen kills on the US servers and yet when the server was swapped for a Euro one she manages nearly 30 kill, i find this highly suspicious.

Also as many mods know, or rather should know the latest of RGH (RGH 2.03 released on 29-04-2010) no longer caused a player to randomly spin around rather look and shoot in the same direction that the spectate is, Given the screenshot provided by Hex, and the location of the bullet holes in the floor it would appear that the cheater in question was using spectate and was stood approximately in the area above the MCT shooting downwards, this of course doesn't appear in the screen shot due to the fact that the coordinates do not give the elevation of the gun just the direction the player was facing.

Overall i find that this tournament was a joke from the very start, and I honestly believe that n00bless pulling out was the only possible outcome given these circumstances.

calling me flamin is fine, i do not mind, most people do call me that :)

there were numerous reasons noobless have withdrawn. Some were misunderstanding and i still beleive some were (ICE was never punished)... but there are others.

i am also personally very dissappointed. Takes alot of work to bring the renegade community together and to have such a big one drop out is frustrating
but we will move on and still have fun!

(forum mods will see some hidden posts - just leave em for now :) )

this ^^ show me that the dicussion should go on and all people in charge should go back to dicuss all that to make ajustements where its needed .
This tournament is not perfect and cant be .there is too much thing that can happen that are uncontrolable (im just a player its just my opinion)
like i know flame hes trying to do his best in this ,its demand lots a work and came up pretty good considering all what have to be done.
If someone expect the perfect thing im sure he will be disappoint. But if we considere this RGCT2 a fun thing with imperfections that will bring experience to the futur maker of this tournament we will have fun participating.
I dont think nobody could organize this tournament and come up with the Perfect thing.
Im sure that all people in place try their best (honestly and on a neutral eye) to be a fair tournament and if they do mistake they willing to reconsidering their decision.
As all communities and clans should do in an spirit of understanding .
So please guys have fun and lets play :)

I'm sorry to see that n00bless has dropped out, getting more than 15 players in a community war these days is almost unheard of. Sorry it had to end up like this.

This kind of makes n00bless look like babies, they are unhappy with something so they quit.

tbh, i think jelly keeps their points, they did win fair and square. But the admins will discuss further i think.

allied hasnt earned any yet (no games), so they are a ok to swap pools - thats done

tis a big loss definitely as they were a great, competitive team that really were on track for big games. I am very dissappointed

Thing with that, though, is they will now have to win one fewer round than everyone else in their pool.

Every time I checked the n00bless forum there was some new drama. I think things will be a lot smoother now. Unfortunately not everyone seems to share the same opinions on this matter, but thats life I guess...
