You can't directly edit it in Level Edit.
However, inside the .mix library you will find the w3d files of the map. You can extract these with xcc mixer and import them into RenX with the w3d importer if you want to change the map terrain or just put the w3d files inside your mod folder if you only want to 'modify' the bots (like you do).
Now, you technically can't modify bots on the map, since the necessary LE files arent put into a .mix upon extraction. But, you can however put your own bots on the map and try recreating the way it was and then adjusting it or just recreating it the way you want it from the start.

The below link explains how to use xcc mixer (and it also links to some other useful threads on that forum):

as for exporting a .mix (for when ur done adjusting and want to play it) I have no experience whatsoever. There are some tuts on it but I never tried them out. I'll link them just in case, but I dunno how accurate they are:

I hope that answers your question / was understandable ;)

Hey Cudaker,

Its fairly easy.

================================
What you need to edit a .mix map
================================

LevelRedit.
Leveledit.
XCC mixer.

-------------

Make a copy of your mix map and place on your desktop for later. (ALWAYS MAKE BACKUPS!) First you need to run LevelRedit and covert your .mix map. Once complete open up level edit and select your mix map and open it.

=========================
Increasing amount of bots
=========================

To make more bots simply click on a bot already on the map you wish to make more of. (you need to do this quick) Do a left then right click on the bot fast and it will clone it. all you got to do then is place it where you want it.

If you wish to clone more than 1 bot at a time then try this, select a bot to copy, now hold ctrl and select other bots you want to clone. Once you have selected what you want to clone do the left/right click on any of them and it will clone all you selected.

==========================
Editing the skills of bots
==========================

You need to find the bot preset in level edit. All bot presets can be found in folders: Objects/Soldier/Soldier_Presets

Example: CnC_Nod_MiniGunner_0_Skirmish = This is a standed nod soldier with an auto rifle gun.

Select the preset and click the mod tool below. When the box apears go to the settings tab, here you have all the settings for this bot. Most settings you will just know what its for but some i'll explain just incase your unsure.

========
Settings
========

BullseyoffsetZ = How good the bots aim is at shooting.

sightrange = distance the bot can see on a map.

sightArc = If set to 360 the bot can see out the back of his head (all the way round)

turnrate = speed it takes to turn round.

------------------------------------------------

UseInnatebehavior = Tick box to edit these 2 settings below.

InnateAggressiveness = If set to 2.000, when the bot see's you it will most likely run at you fireing, if set to 0.500 will be less likely.

InnateTakeCoverProbability = If set to 2.000, when the bot see's you it will most likely take cover before fireing, if set to 0.500 will be less likely.

------------------------------------------------

Once edited Save your work. Always best to Save As NOT Save. Now close level edit. You do not need to export mix.

Now you need to go to your level edit folder and go into your map folder and then into Levels folder. In here you need to find these two files:

C&C_MapName.ddb
C&C_MapName.Ldd

Copy these 2 files to your desktop with the .mix file from earlier.

Open up XCC mixer, find your mix map (On desktop) Double click it to view all files inside this mix map. Find and delete the old versions of:

C&C_MapName.ddb
C&C_MapName.Ldd

Right click/delete

Once deleted drag and drop the new ddb/Ldd into the list of files. Check they are both there again.

Job done, time to test and play. I hope this helps you good luck.
