lol a spinoff from sarah's serversided lag problem topic... :D

seems the server still keeps crashing daily after i heard of that ram problem on the server. it crashed once yesterday and again just a few hours ago before i posted this. time to nag at the host to either repair the hardware or upgrade new hardware for the server for free? lol~

u can see above clearly that the server crashed as it went from m01 to coop b1.

The connection between XWIS and the FDS got broken.

The RAM problem isn't one related to hardware, but relates to the amount of memory the server uses at any given point. As you may know a windows application in a 32-bit environment can't go above 2GB RAM or it will run out of memory addresses. When that happens the application crashes, in this case the FDS.

wah the fds v4 that memory hungry now to use up 2gb of ram? i dont recall the fds using up so much ram... unless u let it run on and on for weeks/months...

It's an issue related to the 4.0 FDS, memory/VM usage goes through the roof for some reason, it's probably a memory leak of some sorts.
