The next batch of AOW maps has been released. These maps are: C&C_Complex, C&C_Mesa & C&C_Walls and the player plays as GDI on these maps.
These maps are divided between 2 playstyles:
-Style 1: Complex & Mesa. On this style buildings cannot be destroyed from the outside, with the exception of the Obelisk on Mesa. The respawn time for all infantry on this style is 60 secs. There are no respawning vehicles. This style has each section blocked off from the start and each area gets unblocked as you complete objectives. This style is a fusion of Mission style & MP maps with an emphasis on the mission style.
-Style 2: Walls & City. On this style the buildings CAN be destroyed from outside. The respawn time on this style is 60 secs for all infantry, and 90 secs for respawning vehicles. This map has only the central hill blocked off untill the field is conquered. This style is also a fusion of Mission style & MP maps with more of an emphasis on the more open gameplay of the MP maps. This style also has an evenly matched ammount of dynamic bots on both teams.
On both styles the buildings will be repaired from within by technicians.
Havoc, PIC & Mobius cost 2500 on all these maps. There are no buyable beacons.
All maps have mini consoles on them that can be poked. Doing so will play a list of all of the maps objectives in the chat. There is one mini console in each GDI building that you can spawn in (so the only GDI building that doesnt have one is the WF on Complex). Switches can be poked once every 20 seconds. Mesa is the only map with a bossfight.
Below in the spoilers are generic guides on what to do in order to complete these missions, as well as the objectives list as they are found ingame by poking the mini consoles.
If you kept count of the total, yes there are 25 secrets spread over these 4 maps. The secret obby gun spawners occur on every map, but are however also always marked as StartsDisabled, meaning you will have to meet the requirements for getting it to spawn. On all 3 maps the requirement for this is destroying the HoN. On Mesa there is also a secret switch which can only be used AFTER the boss fight has been won. Also, due to the random character pickup granting a random mutant on these maps, I have set it up so that your armor type & health type also get changed when you pick it up. Your health type will be changed to that of a mutant so that tib heals your hp. Your shield will be changed to that of a chem warrior so that it will not be affected by tib but not heal on tib (otherwise it would be too OP imo).
