A new m05 has been added to the rotation (replacing the old one). The old m05 generally caused the server to empty out, which was my main reason for making my own version of it. This version is in no way based on the SP map or the previous version. You will not meet hotwire, gunner, patch & deadeye. You will not meet any resistance members.
Instead what you will find is a Nod infested town which still has civillians in it. These civs have been taken captive by nod, and will not move until their guards are dead (and some other stuff as well in some of the situations; look at the objectives list and you'll see a bit of variation in what is required to be able to poke them free). Saving these civs has been integrated into the objectives, so you will have to save them to advance. Civilians are saved when they stop near a GDI APC and enter it. If a civillian manages to get stuck, just go back to where you found them and wait for 60 secs.
The map starts at the downed GDI chinook as usual. The map ends at the house that goes over the road behind the church. Purchase settings are the same as on my m07.mix; -1k chars (havoc, PIC, mobius) cost 5000. -Cheap (150) sydney buys an acolyte for 300 credits. -Patchs buys a templar for 900 credits.
Objective switches on this map get disabled after the next check is cleared. For example, the switch at start will no longer function once the 1st checkpoint has been secured.
This map has a boss fight with mendoza which has a requirement for you to be able to beat him. He will be unkillable untill this requirement has been met. Below is the objective list:
