Been playing Jelly-Marathon for a few years and loved every second of it.

 

Some good players there + the settings were just right to enjoy a decent game of Renegade AOW.

 

Will miss it

Sad indeed.

 

A lot of us used to play there after our own AOW server was shut down due to low usage. Hard to sustain any Renegade server with the dwindling player numbers.

 

But we have our memories of the good times

A server you could 99.9% of the time rely on to be running, when your favourite server crashes or gets updated, but what is an end of an era for 1/some or all, is the beginning of a new one.

i also blame the demise of gamespy for servers shutting down. renlist was a fuss-free, no-frills way of finding a renegade server. without gamespy, finding a server just became too difficult for the minimalist crowd.
